The Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea: two places that taste of holidays and home. The sounds of the winds: the "Scirocco", Maestrale the summer breeze, Libeccio, which brings the waves and keeps everyone out of the sea. A sea that soothes at the end of the day, where, in summer, one can swim for hours without feeling cold, immersed in its transparent mirror.
Yet today, this sea is in danger: the region is warming faster than the global average, threatening biodiversity, coastal communities and the balance of its ecosystems. That is why, more than ever, we must take care of it. Because the sea is not only a place for holidays and swimming. It is also what sustains us, brings us together and reminds us that it is the greatest common good we share.
