I started in this aquatic world as a baby, at just one year old, due to respiratory problems. From a young age, I fell in love with swimming and soon began competing. I traveled representing the club, won many medals, hit qualifying times, and dreamed of pursuing a career as an athlete.
At 15 years old, I wanted to venture into the sea, but my mother wouldn’t allow it, thinking it was too dangerous.
In Rio de Janeiro, there was a famous race called “King and Queen of the Sea,” and at the time, I had a strong chance of winning awards
Time went by, and at 18, I finally began training in the sea with an excellent team in Rio. However, I also needed to study and work, so swimming ended up taking second (or even third) place.
With the hustle and bustle of life, I spent quite some time away from the pool. Later, I decided to move here, and last year I discovered Swim4Fun — which reignited the spark in my eyes for this world that has always been my passion.
I hope to make new friends here and never drift away from swimming again.
